1. Prof.(Mrs.) S. Asopa (Retired) Head, Department of Political Science visited the Centre on 17th January, 2002 and delivered a lecture on "Regional Interest of Central Asia: A case study of Tajikh Afghan Relations."

2. Mr. Andrei M. Nazarkin, the Vice-Consul and the Director, cultural Centre of Russian Federation in Mumbai visited the Centre on 1st October, 2003 and delivered a talk on the changes in Russia.

3. Dr. Felix Yurlov, of the Centre for Indian Studies, Institute of oriental Studies Academy of Social Sciences, Moscow, visited the Center on 10th February, 2004.

4. His Excellency Alexander Mantytsky, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Mumbai , delivered a lecture on 18th August ,2005 ,on "India Russia Strategic Partnership ".

5. Prof.Tatoul Manasserian from Armenia delivered a lecture on the topic "Contemporary Developments in Armenia" on 23rd November, 2005.

6. Prof. Evgeniya Vanina, Deputy Director of the Indian Section of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, delivered a lecture on "Contemporary Russia "on 14th December, 2005.

7. His Excellency Alexander Mantytsky, Cosul General of the Russian Federation in Mumbai, visited the Centre in October, 2006 and delivered a lecture on "Russia and G-8".

" Received Honours Degree Soviet/Russian political history in 1980.

" Awarded fellowship of the American Council of Learned Societies and American Council of Social Science Research to do year-long research on ethno-nationalism in the former USSR.
