Library

The Jawaharlal Nehru / central library in the University Kalina campus has over 10,000 books related to biological sciences. It also has a number of national as well as international journals related to biological sciences. There are online journals also available to the students and the staff of the University.
Besides this facility the department has its own collection of over 350 books in biotechnology. These include reference books as well as encyclopaedias. A number of E-books are also available in the department. The students are permitted to issue the books from the department library for the purpose of referencing. The department also subscribes to research journals from the Indian Academy of Sciences. The department also has a collection of CD’s as well as books for competitive examinations like GATE, GRE, NET etc
