Ph.D. in Law- Minimum 2 Years after LL.M. 3 Years after LL.B.
Ph.D. admission will generally be restricted to the students who have obtained the LL.M. degree of this University or of any other University recognised by this University as equivalent thereto with minimum of fifty-five percent marks (General Category) and fifty percent marks (Reserve Category). A student who has obtained an LL.B. degree may be admitted to the Ph.D. degree if he clears an Aptitude Test conducted by the concerned Department of the University.
A candidate for Ph.D. Degree must have worked to carry out research for a minimum period of two years (24 months) from date of registration. A student with LL.B. degree is required to work for a minimum period of three academic years.
