The Indo-Canadian Studies Centre, funded by the British Columbia Province Government, Canada, was inaugurated by Mr. Marvin Hildebrand, Consul General of Canada in Mumbai in the presence of Dr. Rajan Welukar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai.

The inauguration was attended by students and faculty members of the University of Mumbai.
Mr. Hildebrand was hopeful that this Centre would be a step ahead in nurturing the relationship between India and Canada. He very graciously chatted with the students and other faculty members before proceeding to the venue of the inaugural symposium.
