Introduction

The University has been enriched by the establishment of the Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute of Investment Studies which has been become possible with the donation of Shri Dineshbhai Mody, Chairman of a leading stock brokers' firm. Pending the construction of its own building at Vidyanagari, the institute has started functioning at knowledge to investors and public at large on the functions and working of the stock and capital markets. The investor awareness of the technicalities of these markets is pre-requisite for the right investment decision.
