Minimum Admission Requirement (O.3333)
A candidate for
the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) must have passed a Bachelor's
degree examination of this University in any Faculty or a corresponding
degree examination of any other University recognised as equivalent
thereto and in addition must have , subsequent to his passing the Bachelor's
degree examination :
1) Kept two terms
, the first and the second(seperated) over the maximum period of 2 consecutive
academic years in a college of Education for B.Ed.(Mentally Retarded).
(2)Completed a course of practical work extending over two terms of
the satisfaction of the Head of the Institution in which the candidate
is studying, consisting of :-
Attendance at Demonstration/Discussion lessons and
(i)internship of at least one week's duration,
(ii) working with the community,
(iii) Socially useful productive work - at least two of the Work-experience
Projects of Maharashtra State Syllabus
(iv) Participation/Organisation of co-curricular activities and
(v) Chalk Board Work and Audio-Visual Education.
(b)Observation of Teaching as directed.
(c)Teaching Practice of not less than 25 lessons distributed over different
groups .5 lessons will be microlessons.
